So yesterday morning I spoke with my buddy Sam Kirby over Skype while eating my egg sandwich for breakfast. Sam was preparing to watch the World Series and I was about to leave the apartment for school, it was great. For those of you that don’t know, Skype is an on-line phone service. If you have an updated computer all you have to do is talk to your computer and the person on the other line hears you through their speakers. If you don’t have an up-to-date computer, apparently you can get a headset to do the trick. It is completely free, all you have to do is go to http://www.skype.com and download the program.
We just returned from eating our favorite meal, and find ourselves terribly full. We walked around downtown to try to walk it off, but it didn’t work. What did happen though was we found ourselves in a photo booth doing some model poses. These photo booths aren’t in shopping malls, they are on about every street corner in stores specifically for this type of thing. They have costumes to chose from and computers to play with your image. There is quite a market. Enjoy our photo session.
Lindsay and I are heading to Gyeongju tomorrow to stay at a Buddhist temple. We aren’t sure what is in store for us, but I am sure we will have a story for our faithful blog readers. Stay tuned.
I look forward to Skyping you. We’re off to Skype with Jessica and Reed at the moment!
