Saigon Saigon

Hello from Vietnam!
Just wanted to write a quick note and let you all know we’re safe and sound in Saigon, Vietnam. It’s a vibrant city that never sleeps, where scooters are the main mode of transportation.
We’re heading out of the city tomorrow for two days at the beach, then a few days in the Mekong Delta as we make our way up to Cambodia and then to Angkor Wat.
We went to the War Remants Museum today. All I can say is that it is so sad that history seems to repeat itself over and over again. After looking at those atrocities, we’re looking for a pick-me-up. The shopping and dining is top notch, so we’re about to duck out into the 85-degree wet evening for some shrimp rolls and noodles.
Talk more in a few days!
