Namaste! Whit and Lindsay here.
Delhi has been nothing if not an overload on our senses. Every where we look there is another scene to see.
So in no particular order, here is the speed and caucophony of our first day.
Horns. Curry. Turbans. Namaste. Driver. Delhi. Urine. Rubble. Stares. Exhaust. Heat. Spit. Muslim. Hindu. Orange. Sari. Cows. History. Mosques. Markets. Auto rick-shaw. Horn. Brakes. Horn. Horn. Horn. Horn. Horn.
We’re hoping to head out tomorrow on a train to Agra, home of the Taj Mahal. But, currently, the front desk of our hotel is patiently trying to explain to Whit the meaning of us being “waitlisted.”
We’ll report back soon!!
