Monday was Whit’s birthday so just the two of us headed out for a late dinner last night.
It was Whit’s favorite Korean food, bossam, which is steamed pork with several different types of kimchi and a load of wonderful side dishes.
It was a really nice little dinner–though as pleasant as our meal was–our ride home was even more fun as we chatted in Korean with our very young cab driver, practicing our new vocabulary words we’ve been learning in class.
Here are a few pictures for you back at home. Wish we could have celebrated with you!
Tomorrow we’re heading to dinner with a few more friends to ring in Whit’s 32nd year. More pics to be posted soon.
